During Literacy week this year we are thinking of running an inservice "Digital Storytelling P-10"using Adrian Bruce as presenter. It is a germ of an idea at the moment. Some activities will run in classrooms, some as small teacher groups. I think the idea has merit in that it will incorporate a range of ICTs and use classroom teachers and computers as opposed to the specialist and lab. I attended a PD with Adrian and think he would be ideal for the day. I was wondering if anyone else would like to make use of his knowledge and expertise while he is in Victoria. He has to come down from Sydney and is happy to do that, but, If a few schools used him, we could share the plane costs.I would be interested to hear what people think either through this forum or off line.

I am waiting to contact him but I think it will be either last week in August or first week in September. I am still not sure of the dates of Literacy/Numeracy week.

Lisa I talked to Adrian and have tentatively booked him for September 1. I have now put the details of it all on hold until the holidays.

The Digital Story Telling day with Adrian Bruce is finally here - next Tuesday 1 September. This has been such a huge term. I just seem to move from one major event to the next. Spent last week in melbourne with my year 7s on camp.
The reason for this post? I have a problem and need about 24 desktop microphones for Tuesday and am at a loss to figure out where I can get them from. Thought maybe someone who reads and lives within driving distance migh have some we can borrow.
If anyone would like to come to any part of the day let me know, too. We are all very excited about it. I have uploaded the program for anyone who might be interested - I know itrs short notice - sorry!
